After passing through Sousse (Tunisia) and Algiers, Jiser presents the third stage of the Jiser 2022/2023 Residencies, which will include the participation of the last three selected artists. For two months, the artists will settle in Hangar, with the objective of developing their reflections and their creations, in an environment of joint work and exchange, in which they will be accompanied by the curator of this edition, Houari Bouchenak, with the collaboration in Barcelona of Xavier de Luca.
This Thursday, February 23, the research processes and creations of the three artists that make up the Jiser 2022/2023 Residences are presented at the Centre Cívic Fort Pienc in Barcelona: Amira Lamti (Tunisia), Hakim Rezaoui (Algiers) and Javier Arango ( Barcelona). With the desire to expand the ways of connection and reflection, Jiser has drawn up a public program of actions and interventions in dialogue with a selection of art and culture professionals, which have been developed in collaboration with other groups and spaces in the city, as well as international actors through concrete actions that will last until the end of March 2023. Details of this program can be found on the Jiser website (www.jiser.org) and the Fort Pienc Civic Center (www.fortpienc.org).
